09/21/03 ~ 07/28/07 Haunted Hill Sounder X McBride's Midnight High
This hound was very special
to me, I was honored to have acted as handler on numerous occasions
around the Maritimes and Maine. She always made me look good at every
trial. She was a clean, smooth running hound with loads of hunt.
My first introduction to
beagling was listening to her sweet sounding voice and boy, she had the
nicest one I ever heard.
On Saturday, July 28th that
voice was silenced due to kidney failure. She will be sadly missed. She
only needed one win to finish as field trial champion. Rockette was owned
by Bob Keenan of Charlottetown PEI.

This is a photo of how we preserved
FTCH Fillmore's S.B. Holly's ribbons and plaques. She passed
away in 2002 and is dearly missed. Holly had more heart and desire
than any hound we have had since.

Runstedler's Rebecca: Born Nov.11/91 Died Aug.1/03 Bred By: John Runstedler Owed By: Lawson McArthur Rebecca was a good looking beagle with excellent confirmation and was always sound. She had loads of heart and desire, with a chop on track, and a triple chop out of a check. She was a medium track speed hound. She was best known as a top producing Dam, and was so good at whelping, you'd never know when she had her pups. She rarely lost one. Rebecca reproduced better than she herself was and these qualities made her dam of the year for 2000 and runner-up for 2002 for the C.O.H.A. She produced FTCH Swampghost Sinda and more than a dozen other hounds who won or placed in trials. Rebecca will be missed, but fondly remembered by myself and others. signed Lawson McArthur |
