Blacky finished his AKC Championship at 28 months of age with 3 wins in classes of 54, 48 and 45 proving he can handle the pressure. Running in Canada, he quickly acquired 3 firsts, 1 second, 1 third, 2 fourths and 1 fifth to finish as an International Field trial Champion before he was 3 years old.  Blacky has excellent confirmation and is a gentleman in the kennel.  He is quick off a check and fast on the track, but can walk a track if conditions warrant it.  Blacky comes from generations of producing and reproducing the finest hounds.
